ez controller

Daily back-up data is saved to :

C:\Noritsukoki\DailyBkData

You can configure the destination path for this  data to write to a  USB Flashdrive or any other media, that way you have another convenient source for recovery data.

From the Service Manual, all is explained here.......

FYI

A bit more on backup data.

The EZ Controller writes to the local drive© by default, that's all very well until the Hard Drive fails!  so what then, you can't recover data as that's all disappeared into  cyberspace along with your blank screen and blinking cursor.......

Size of data for backup is around 6.5~7.0mb,  so if your Noritsu is part of a Workgroup then point the destination path to  a folder in your stand alone destop PC, or reserve a USB flash drive just for this specific purpose.

This is cheap insurance and saves on a lot of anguish and labour by not having to reconfigure your basic setup and print channels all over again. We physically clone  our lab HD's so in the event of a major catstrophe, it's plug-n-pray, power on and away you go.

The EZ Controller PC has two HD's, you could write the data this drive (E). Drive is used as a Nk workflow and order management database processing "buffer" and does not contain the OS, however there is a hand shake with the main system software so one won't function without the other. Basically it is just storage.

EZ controller is a pain if you change IP address or Printer name it tells you that channel data will be reset, I had someone loose the lot as he renamed the printer the same name as as his dog ;D
