statefilm 1 Report post Posted April 2, 2018 I have struggled to get rid of these roller marks from QSS-3300 for about 6 months. I've done a few complete chemistry changes and deep cleans, which helps some but never solves the problem. The marks are always this exact same pattern and I haven't really been able to source the problem to one specific rack, etc. Any idea which part of the machine is causing this? Minilab service 238 Report post Posted April 2, 2018 Guess second upper turn rack, but only you can find what exactly cause lines . Open processor cover, remove paper after few racks and see where these lines appear.
Dave S 82 Report post Posted April 3, 2018 Have you checked that it is replenishing properly? What chemistry are you using? Are the replenisher rates correct? My guess is the problem is algae. What happens is you clean everything and it's fine for a few weeks then the problem starts again as the algae starts to grow back. The solution is to soak the STB crossovers and STB Racks in diluted household bleach overnight to kill off the algae. You may need to do the STB tanks as well. You can get anti algae additives for the STB to help stop the issue. 1 Big Dave reacted to this
