ARCNET communication error. Processor. [6901-0008]

Recommended Posts

Hello there, I have a Noritsu 3202 and is throwing error -

"6901-0008, ARCNET communication error. Processor"

Then I ran "Self Check Application" on my computer then it gave me the following results(images attached in this post).

We deep cleaned all the PCB's having fiber cables and also cutted the small amount of fiber cable from their end in order to make them sharp.

We checked the power source and it was OK.

I had been studying this error from past 6-hours but I didn't got any working solution.

Any help will be apperitiated!!

THANK-YOU!!

Sir, where can I get the wiring diagram?, Or can you provide it.?

I am damn sure that one of my men misconfigured the optical fiber connections.

Yes sir, I'm sure that the fiber optics have fine connection and power to the PCB is also OK.

This one is the processor PCB board(image attached).

If the PCB is having some sort of hardware issues, is there any way to repair that PCB??

Can a normal electronics engineer diagonise the problem?

If yes, then what do you think which component could be defective??

Did you press the release button when you detached the cables? If you just pull out the cables small pieces of the cable shaves of an can block the light in the connectors.

Yes, the every cable was plugged out/in gently.

I think the problem could be the IC "36DJDNK 74LS244", because it was heating up compared to it's neighbours IC's.

What do you think?

I think proccesor control is good.

Can you check if the connection processor control  if it is intermittent ?

Menu extension- maintenance-sistem version check.

try connect the optical fiber  in another connection in the printer control pcb.

Also  can try update the software only processor control.

The IC's are working fine, I just diagnosed them.

I tried connecting optical fiber in another connections.

I can't open the menu until the software detects the machine's temperature and the software can't communicate with the machine, so that the processor solution temperature is showing 0 0 0.... , hence I can't do anything!!

The dryer section is stucked .

Anyway we're stuck.

Any other solution..
