MS01 2.5.5. - dos not find disk on the same network

Recommended Posts

Hello!

MS01 2.5.5 running on windows xp pro, dosent find disks on windows 10 computer in the same network (the os finds the disks but ms01 does not.),

The os  and browsers are so old  that team viewer cant be activated that maintenance could check it.... :)

Any suggestions on what to do.

If W10 disk is shared and you see it on Windows then on Windows XP add it as virtual disk ( map network drive and select letter for it ) . Then you should open this virtual disk from MS01 .

Teamviewer can be used on Windows XP, or even on Windows 2000. Can use Teamviewer, which need to install and Teamviewer, which can use without it ( need just run ) . On Windows XP SP3 can be used Teamviewer versions from 8 to 14.2 ( should be installed Internet explorer version 8 ) . On Windows 2000 SP4 can work Teamviewer version 8  ( should be installed Internet explorer version 6 ) .

The latest MS01 version is 10.0 . It can be installed on W10 64 bit. MS01 4.2 is for W7 32 bit and MS01 3.1 - for XP.

Write private message, if need help to upgrade, or adjust virtual network drive.

Thank you Minilab Service! creating the virtual disk solved the problem.

If any one else needs this, creating an virtual disk on xp, then use command prompt (click on start -> RUN wright-> cmd ) then use the substation comand

->Subst A:  B:\the\folder\Uneed

A: being the folder and B: the path
