NeilT
Must be my age!! Our main car is a Mazda Bongo, a sort of MPV / camper / all sorts. A Japanese import and we have had so much fun into over the last 3 years. I do have a small Mazda Bongo web site www.bongoforum.co.uk Yesterday I took delivery of a Zippe this is an electric scooter , but zero tax to pay, low maintenance, cheap to run, very nippy, and great for the local running around that I do. The zippe is great, if you would like to find out more, do visit there web site www.zippe.co.uk
Premco
Looks quite smart Neil, can you give a rough price guide?
NeilT
The Zippe all in, and that is registered here in the UK, all well under £1,000 (One thousand, UK Pounds) Running cost for the Zippe = around 1,000 miles to the gallon (If you used petrol)
Premco
Good value and appears like it will be great fun. Downunder we are developing a modified petrol car to electric. http://www.bev.com.au/ The only complaints have been "look out!" as you cannot hear the b*gger coming!!! lol

Magenta
Welcome to 2 wheels I drive a Prius so I am doing my bit to save the world Unfortunately I then pollute it with a 1963 Lambretta. You just can not tinker with a Prius ;D http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp44/MK_monty/DSC00526-2.jpg
NeilT
That Lambretta is in fabulous condition !
Photographis
now there's a thing, here am I contemplating two wheels again. Now the problem is whether I want to deafen them with the roar of a full blown hog, or quietly sneak up behind them and scare the bejesus out of them. Thanks Neil!! ;D ;D 8) Nice Lambretta, by the way. The last scooter I rode was a tempremental James, not good memories.

philspectrum
I used to use 2 powered wheels, - now I use a push bike, - every day this and last year - even in snow. Even cheaper to run, better for you, and less polluting still, - oh and £0 tax too. Can even ride after a few pints as long as they don't catch you! Welcome to the 2 wheel revolution! Tony.T
the lambretta above looks fabulous (drool ;D) Sorry to say that I'm not at all green- Lexus IS for everyday commuting and an old swb Pajero for transporting us and the guns and clays and anything else dirty and smelly, and liable to go off- bit like me really ;D ;D
Colopt
Nice Lambretta. I ride a bicycle most days the 30km to my shop. I am starting to want another motorbike though, probably something more substantial than the Zippe, although it does look nifty. My last bike was a Kawasaki ZZR-1100.
