Michelangelo
Hi guys!!! I am thinking about buying a Kodak G4 Order Station, (G4XE) but I use Hiti Printers which I guess there is no enabler software to make them work with the kiosk. The question is, is there any way to configure the Kodak Kiosk in order to send the photos to a network shared folder, so I can take them from there to print anywhere else? I guess this is similar to configure a minilab hot folder, which I think it is possible. Thanks a lot for your help and time. Best regards, Michelangelo
aussiecameras
We have a series of G3 and G4 machines in a network connected to our wet lab and other computers. The ordered images on the kiosks are readily available from any of the computers on the network but I don't know where the information related to quantities and sizes would be found. Michelangelo
Thanks for your answer aussiecameras I spoke with Kodak Technical support in my country and they said that Kodak Kiosk are restricted to be interconnected with other computers (different than Kodak ones), so how did you perform this connection, did you use any hack onr trick to workaround Kodak restrictions? Is there any option in the Kodak system, to specify an output folder instead of a printer when the user decides to "print"something? Thanks a lot for your help and time.
