Online / Kiosk prints from facebook

I know a lot of our customers navigate the Minilab help boards as such I'm posting this here for you.

In case you haven't noticed, your online photo ordering kiosk and photo factory now accept photos from facebook. We've made the process as simple as possible for your customers, when they click to add photos, they can choose to pick photos from their computer or from their facebook account. They can mix and match photos in an order as well as in a book. The application also allows you to print your friends photos (as long as the privacy settings in their accounts allow for it.)

This update will be streamed out to the in-store kiosks as well.

As per our policies, this update is automatically available to our customers and their is no downloads or installations required on your end.

For those that don't currently use Dakis for their online prints, you can try out the software at www.dakis.com/progroup

Cheers and happy selling,

Was a nice surprise to see that available this week. I am sure that will make a big difference to orders now customers can access their Facebook pictures from the website portal. It's these type of innovations photo shops need to stay relevant. Good to see some positive news for a change,

Good on dakis for making this available. We don't have the Kodak kiosks but have had quite a few people wanting to print from their facebook photos. Most would do it at home or work if there was a solution.

Seems quite a few of the other software systems have stopped development. Pleasing to see there are others seizing the opportunity :)
