Anthy
Hello everyone, I'd like to do a little upgrade on my Kodak G3. But I have no technical information about the mainboard. At the moment there are 2 of the 4 memoryslots used with each 256MB PC 2700. Can I place 2 more modules using the unused slots, or must I replace them? What I also like to know, what is the fastest CPU I can use and is there a possibility to do a BIOS update? Thanks in advance, Anthy

Jimbeen
if sinstars specs are correct u can use Intel® Pentium® D, Intel® Pentium® 4, Celeron®, or Celeron® D processor http://compare.intel.com/pcc/showchart.aspx?mmID=138&familyID=10&culture=en-US which means u should pentium D (dual core) CPU (Note Pentium D = pentium D, does not mean any other dual core intel cpu) u can bump up the ram too... my g3's only have two ram slots, and only support early intel cpu's(400fsb) and are painstakingly slow. im jealous hahaha! btw: to find more info on ur mainboard, look on it and find some identification, like a serial number, or model number that would greatly help identify it properly as well.
