maureenwolfe
Having problems with Cd burning on imge box, has anyone tried to replace the LG Burners oringally supplied? If so is just a case of replacing the drive? or is there software changes?
photosave
Replacing the drive is easy - once you've actually got into the box itself. This is quite a long job! From memory there is an easier way to fix the drives possibly without complete dis-assembly. Ex Agfa techs will be able to help if you post on the dlabglobal forum on Yahoo Groups
kioskguy
We have used LG and Sony with no problems. I don't think the Agfa software is specific in its requirements. Good luck. They are not easy to get to.
Ignatius
Up To V5.2 you can use any CD/DVD burner(DVD's won't burn ) With V6(Lucidiom ) you can only use one type. Also take a record of your MAC address and licence numbers in the Profile folder. You will need this when the MB goes. smcgroty
The kiosk has two parts, the base that contains the drive bays and the much larger top part that has the mobo and screen. IIRC, there are four larger screws on the sides of the base, after you take off the outer case. Remove the screws, slide the top part backwards (it takes some force) to disengage it from the base, then pivot it away from the base, making sure not to stress the cables. You will be able to access the CD drive sled. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
