Retired
Is it possible to test the printer like a CT-1 can?
Dave S
Is it possible to test the printer like a CT-1 can? I don't understand what you mean. It's basically just setup as a Windows printer, you can go to the Windows control panal, Printers, highlight the BD2-2860 Partial Cut, file, properties, then click print test page. Or open Notepad, type something, file, print.
Retired
I didn't know that. Like I said before I'm not the sharpest tool in the windoze shed. But I thought on a CT-1 you could test the printer? But that's great that windows can do it too. Thanks for the help!
Retired
Ok now I'm toast. I keep getting an error when trying to print. RICOH Port Monitor Dtected Error HELP! How do I beat this into submission? ;D
Dave S
With a big hammer ;D Try going around all the plugs and sockets inside the CT-2, I think the printer connects to an interface PCB. It may be a software issue, easiest thing to do is a recovery. Other than that you
Retired
Can anyone tell me the proper driver for the CT-2 printer? Before I drop it from 2 meters and toss it in the skip. > ;D
Dave S
On the C drive of the CT-2 there should be a folder called drivers, inside that folder is a folder called CBM these are the drivers for the receipt printer. Most of the help/ info is written in Japanese, so not much use really :
