Sara
For those who have one kiosk, how do you go on with people editing etc their images before printing and taking their time over it. Do you only allow pepole to edit at particular times or is it first come first served? Thanks in advance.
Peter Thornton
This is an interesting question and was much discussed at the recent PMA conference. Here's some figures: Cost of Kiosk, say,
photofast
We only have one kiosk at the mo if this is busy we use the pc networked in to take in the order from the waiting customer. We also have a stand alone cd burner that customers can use in the shop. We will suggest a cd of their images anyway (if customer has card) so we might make the cd before we do the prints for waiting customer and after with the kiosk customer! IF someone else still waiting we have another pc with card reader so make another cd there!!!! Peter is right more kiosks is the answer and we will have to get more soon Customers like a shop with a busy stressed owner don't they? ha ha Jason
NeilT
We have one and a half kiosks well one in full time use, and one (xkiosk) tetsing on a PC, but if a customer is waiting, and they want a simple order, then we bring them into the minilab, and print the images with them.
