ulfarsfell
Hello I am having a problem with my Fuji frontier 340 and was wondering if you guys could help me out. A few days ago the blacks on the paper condition print started having this blue-ish tint on them. The densitometer always asks for a new print but it never gets corrected. This is happening on all paper sizes. I have exposed a small amount of the paper roll and fed it through and it comes out strong black. Please let me know if you have any idea what this might be. Thanks.
nash
i think it`s your dev is contaminated. I would drain first tank and flush throughly and replace it with fresh dev
ulfarsfell
Ok so I have done the test where I expose a piece of the paper roll and then fed it through the machine and they came out strong black, shouldnt that rule out that it is a chemical thing? nash
by exposing a piece of paper to light and then processing does not prove anything apart from being fogged paper
Dave S
The only way to know properly if the chemistry is good is to process and measure a paper control strip. But chances are if the fogged paper is black and unexposed paper is white probably the chemistry is reasonably OK. I suspect there is a problem with the Blue part of the AOM driver. You can swap the wires on the AOM driver around with the green to test if that is the problem.
foto.sk
Check chemical filters first, than check replenisher unit ...

ulfarsfell
I have replaced all chemicals and it is still the same problem. Could it be my densitometer? I have a Fuji AD200
