V-5 kiosk not communicating w/ Frontier 340

Hello, after upgrading my workstaion xp from service pack 2 to service pack 3, the Frontier 340 stopped receiving data from the workstation, we have worked on this to the point that there in now a bigger problem, the V-5 kiosk will not send orders to the 340, upon the V-5 startup a message says "no video imput", I did not get a V-5 manual, also the 340 & V-5 ask for a password on every startup, my local computer guys have no hair left to pull out, could someone get me started in the right direction, Thanks Randy
