Gopo
I have a fuji Frontier 370. When I perform the condition set-up the YMC color comes clearly. But when I perform a pattern print it comes out Magenta. When I print from the scanner all the prints are magenta.Even the borders are magenta. I disconnected the G-laser then it turned green. kindly help.
Kevbo37
After you disconnected the green laser your borders turned green? Did you disconnect the green AOM or the connector with many green wires? It sounds like your optical section needs attention. It doesnt sound like a bad laser but a cleaning and alignment problem. Click on the National Laser Tab at the upper right of the screen and they can help you.
Akvayli Anda Ma Yella
Hiii Gopo I think 100% it's AOM.....change the AOM ...if still same pro ,it's the Laser Unit Good Luck
Kevbo37
Of course Akvayli means replace the AOM driver. This is always the easiest and cheapest 1st step in troubleshooting laser problems.
Gopo
Thanks so much for the pointers. But just in case, does anyone have the AOM driver. Could you also tell me how much it costs. Thanks again for the wonderful responses.

Gopo
Yes I believe one of them may have a problem but I am not so sure if I have to change all three.
Kevbo37
They are 3 separate identical units and yes they are interchangeable. Try to interchange the green and one of the others to see if the problem changes. Please answer my questions Did you disconnect the green AOM or the connector with many green wires? After you disconnected the green laser your borders turned green?
Akvayli Anda Ma Yella
Dear Copo cost is 1400$ used and u must send the old one...new 2600$...try to answer for kevbo questions it will help u.
Gopo
The answer is YES to both questions please.
Gopo
More explanation: When I interchange the G for B, I do not get any information, except that the prints overlap. However when I interchange the B or G for R, then the message is: SOS detection failed.
Gopo
when i disconnected the G AOM all the color becomes green and when i interchange it with the B AOM the colors turn but right now i reconnect them all like before but it cast green i mean all green that means it has turn upside down again when i perform the upkeep print the magenta dont come again and the black side becomes greens so does it mean i should change the G AOM?
Kevbo37
It sounds like you are just changing the output cable on the AOM drivers. You must also interchange the input connectors located on the bottom of the AOM drivers behind the back panel.
Gopo
i now interchanged both the output and the input and only green and yellow comes at the print but when i interchange either B or G to the R IT TELLS ME the SOS DETECTION FAILED thus only to R but when i reset them all it turn to be only magenta prints but the upkeep prints are ok
Gopo
As at now this is the resort of the upkeep print. So what do i do now?
yustas
1. Please read here how to swap AOM drivers. www.minilablaser.com/errors.htm 2. New AOM driver costs 1500 US$ and no need to return the defective one to us. Also we can repair AOM driver for 700 US$. NOTE: Please wear anti-static bracelet to avoid the damage of your AOM driver and laser unit by static electricity. You can buy it at any shop who sells electronic parts. Kevbo37
This upkeep print is NOT OK does the machine tell you it is right? If so you may have a problem with the densitometer or the calibration data. If you swap a bad AOM driver into the red position it will cause a SOS error. Otherwise it apears that the G AOM driver is faulty.
Akvayli Anda Ma Yella
Change AOM drive
Gopo
Dear sir, since few months ago after upkeep printing when i measure the prints it says the resorts is NG so should perform it again even if i perform it hundred times almost the same but the prints afterwards are fine so there was no need to look there only to continue also the upkeep was fine till now that i got this magenta prints so was it because of AOM DRIVERS thats why i got this error after measuring prints?
Kevbo37
I do not believe the bad AOM driver is the cause of the NG condition prints. I have usually found that when I cannot get a good result from the condition print it is due to weak developer. You might try operating the P1 pumps about 6 times through the processor input screen. This will boost your developer a little. Of course this is after you solve the magenta problem.
Gopo
Dear Kevbo therefore with my explanations can you see that its only the AOM that has the problem?
sisir
You should check your AOM drivers
Gopo
I replaced AOM driver G of frontier 370 with the AOM G of frontier 390 but, it does not detect it. Should I replace all the 3 drivers or are they not compatible with each other?
yustas
strange to hear it... 370 is almost same as 390. dry part is same... AOM drivers are same. may be you did not connect well the driver?
