Kevbo37
You should try to swap the red and green AOM drivers. if the problem changes then it is a bad AOM driver. Have you recently performed any maintenance on the machine?
drconservative
This can usually be caused by dust over the focal area.
yustas
I dare to note that you have problem with your Red laser. ( AOM deterioration and etc.) It needs to be repaired with special equipment. Also the revision of Green and Blue light sources and Blue and Green AOM (crystal) required with cleaning of all optics elements.
Kevbo37
If swapping the Red and Green AOM Drivers doesn't change anything then your red laser is have issues. Eugene, what do you mean by, "Also the revision of Green and Blue light sources and Blue and Green AOM (crystal) required with cleaning of all optics elements." yustas
Eugene, what do you mean by, "Also the revision of Green and Blue light sources and Blue and Green AOM (crystal) required with cleaning of all optics elements." Well.. I just advised what we ought to add to the usual repair procedures to verify that all other components are in good condition and do not affect to the laser exposure. Anyway customer does not even know about it because he pays just for repair.
stefano
I've tried to swap the AOM drivers but doesn't change anyhing.... Could be a problem with computer elements? THANKS
sisir
If you can open the laser, just open the laser and clean the tiny small mirror just behind the R-Laser detection sensor. If you dont have experience of opening the Laser unit, just avoid it and call an expert to do the job. Or, you can tune the R-AOM to solv the problem, its simple process. I think, you are also facing SOS detection error with this problem.
stefano
HI!!!! Could you help me to understand if it is a laser unit problem? I've tried to change all the AOM but I've the same problem. Is possible a probelm with the polygonal scanner mirror or B-SHG, G-SHG, R-SHG laser? thamks
sisir
I think it is from your Laser unit. As you are getting SOS error also with it, I think it is for dirty mirrors inside Laser Unit. If you never opened the Laser Unit, it is better to take help from experts. Remember, every spares inside the Laser Unit is very sensative to handle. yustas
Dear stefano, Please read all my posts to your questions VERY attentievly. I wrote to you that if you have no change after AOM driver swapping - the problem is inside the laser unit. We can solve this problem. If you need it- let me know and I will send you all details in email or to PM. thiago.hdp
