Roneakins
I just recieved message on Frontier 330 B laser (BSHG) is about to its lifetime. I did a temp. callibration and got the message that B laser data is abnormal. I assume from this that my laser is about to give up. There is a place called national laser in the US that will repair these units, but I was wondering if there was any other suggestions or source for used or replacemrnt lasers. Any help would be greatley appreciated. Thanks Ron
Kevbo37
From the looks of it no one seems to have an alternative to National Laser. They do good work and get your laser back to you quickly.

Guest
Try to replace the AOM and then followed by B-laser optimum Temprature callibration again. It may solve your problem.

Kevbo37
Look at the temperature of your blue laser. If it is at 38.00 deg then it is at its maximum and can not adjust any higher to keep the laser running below the deterio current. It must be rebuilt. Once the LD current reaches the maximum of 150 mA the printer will no longer allow you to print. The length of time before this happens is different for each laser. Keep an eye on the LD current on the exposure check screen, note the current change each day/week and plan accordingly.
