Mikekofin
I want to ask if anyone who had connect Epson 7880 with MS01 ver 3 has the problem of the cut of excess paper when printing a picture. When you try to print a picture on an epson 7880 through MS01 I get an 8cm width paper cutted. Has anyone solve this problem ?

geirill
thanks for the link! i tryed it but it seems the esp51 software overrides the settings. somewhere in the ini files it must a command for the 8cm precut

geirill
If im printing from photoshop, it doesn`t precut 8cm! its happening on all the medias that i have tested, but havent tryed canvas yet. Not good to use the auto producting when all the pictures get 8cm precut. quite expensive in the long run. My service center has tryed to remove the precut for a while, with no sucess! Mikekofin
We get the problem when we print lets say 60x30 print on pearl through MS01 and also on all the kind of papers and sizes that are available through MS01. If you print through photoshop you dont get the problem. My clients prefer to print their digital albums through MS01 in order to get the Image Intelligence corrections so for now they do not care about the 8cm cutout even if it is a loss for them because the get good quality of prints and because they win print time. Fuji Europe through Tokio said that the epson kit works only with MS01 ver.2.5.5. You have to install MS01 Ver 2.5.5 Epson kit on MS01 Ver.2.5.5 make your products for the epson and then upgrade to MS01 ver 3. I have done this but still have the same problem. If you want try this solution they gave me, you may have better luck from me. For now I dont have the time to test it again. ( The test I have done is that I have made a clean new install of MS01 Ver 2.5.5 install the kit for ver 2.5.5, made the products for the epson on the MS01 and print but the problem was still there) So now I wait for an other answer for them to solve it. We will wait and I am sure that we will have an answer. Pls if you can, sent emails to Fuji to push them and we will have an answer when they see that is a huge problem
drummrgod
Greetings, I have found that most of the margin issues in MS01 are due to the product setup in the MS01 maintenance application. (While in support mode: Start > Programs > FES > aintenance). If you go to Products > Product Setup and find the product size in question, the preview will most likely show the margin value. I usually take the margin off so I can save paper. Just make sure you re-analyze Panda after you make the change.
Christina Rose
Hi, thanks for the information. i have another question like is it any print size ( Length) limitation from MS? because From Photoshop Cs3 i can print maximum length of 90 inch. printer driver not accepting more than that. Epson says need ripping software to extend more than 90 inch. just wonder about MS is it possible more than 90 inch? regards, C.R
