Printing digital photos is fine, problem comes from the negatives. The problem started after cleaning the lamp house & the whole scanner unit (SP 2000). td619 Posted December 3, 2010 Report Share Posted December 3, 2010 Looks like noise. Did you clean inside the back of the SP2000? Or the lens area? Open it back up and make sure all grounding straps and cables are in place. Pay extra attention to the Red Green and Blue CCD coaxiale cables on top of the lens connecting the to the CCD camera. If you pulled the CCD unit to clean under there, make sure you put the dust/light covers for the wire harness that go to CCD shutter motor and shutter home position sensor on correctly. They are the small gray metal cover held on by 2 screws. Stray light hitting the CCD can sometime look like this. Oh, and power off when your up there. For some reason, there always seems to be a lot of eletrical shorts from messing around up there. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
