RogerM
Our LP5000 is giving a green tint in the black bar of the paper condition setup print. Fogged paper processes a good black, so chemistry seems to be good. We changed the AOM in September after losing all colors except green and has worked fine since then. Could the aom be going again? yustas
Yes Shit happens... Try to swap AOM drivers. If the tint change its color- AOM driver is dead. If no change- AOM(crystal) inside the laser unit is dead. Laser unit repair will be required...
RogerM
Thanks- our LP5000 only has one aom, so we can't swap to try that. The green tint is only in the black of the condition strip, the grey bands are perfect- I should have mentioned that before. sisir
You should swap the input and output lines of the AOM drive. As you have only one AOM and it has two input and two output terminal (one for Green and One for Blue). Check by swaping the input and output lines of the AOM. RogerM
The aom only has green connections, the blue are just holes in the housing, no way to connect the cables.
