Daniel P
Kia ora everyone, As I got into lab work when film was heading its way out I am no expert on the matter. Had a customer come in with some negatvies wanting to go to cd. I have attached a photo with the film in question, plus a 35mm film to show size comparison. Almost looks like an APS film, but with no canister. If you know the type of film it is, would you also happen to know whether a 340 can print it (I have most masks/attachements, although some are broken :S ) Cheers guys. Keith
This is 110 film, need 110 film mask to scan the film with your 340. Alternative you can scan it with your flatbed scanner with backlit adapter.
Daniel P
Thanks so much for that. Working a treat in my 110 mask. Although, it appears to be quite time consuming as i have to one frame at a time!
Keith
It is great to have 110 mask on your 340, faster than flatbed scanning. Cheer!
Daniel P
Update: Same question, but different film type. Appears to be same size as 35mm, but has only one hole on the bottom/top and the actual photo is more square. Attemtped to feed in normal 35mm mask, but did not work. Thoughts? (*cough Keith cough* )
manager
Isn't it a cinema film? Made for projectors only?
NeilT
That film is "126" type
manager
Right, I found it on Wikipedia. I had a camera with film pack like that when I was a kid. Never found a replacement, so never made pictures.
Daniel P
Worked like a charm with the 126 mask, so thanks guys.
aussiecameras
All the film types so far have been too easy! Hasn't anybody got any agfa rapid or anything more obscure to really test us old timers?
Keith
Why your 340 equipped with a lot of negative mask? Can you scan Kodak Disc Film? Ha ha...
