I have run into this problem before. You are right to change the developer but you also need to change the bleach fix. Am I right is guessing that you do not do many prints each day? Your chemistry is getting diluted because of the daily rack washing and the refilling operation. I usually perform the rack washing each night but I stop it short after one cycle. Then I skip the refilling operation each morning. This is only a valid solution if you are not doing large quantities of prints each day.

you shoud always mention the model number in the question so that right advice to be given. It is good that you fix the problem by replacing the AOM. There was No Question of swaping AOM becuase Fuji Frontier 570 equipped with ONLY one AOM.
