I haven't seen anything yet that is exactly like your problem though. Hope this is some help. Let us know if you find out what is causing it. tech2 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 I can't say Alex. I have never had this image problem. Perhaps someone else on the forum has had something like this. I do know however that the FMA20 board is the board that interfaces and receives inputted data from the scanner, this is the board that is connected to the fire-wire cable. You could try and check the fire-wire cable first before replacing the board. The cable is also supposed to be grounded to the chassis of the scanner so check this-if not it may be getting some electrical interference.
