fuji370 laser

First off, there is no trustworthy counter in Frontier minilabs. The counts are in the software only, so they are reset to 0 every time the software has been reinstalled. Secondly, I have been told by technicians that the lasers are firing whether prints are being made or not to keep them at a stable operating temperature.  I would be more concerned with the overall age of the machine as an indicator of laser life left.  On the smaller Frontiers (330 and 340) lasers last about 5 to 7 years on average.  Bigger units like the 370 and 390 seem to get a bit more life out of their lasers.  I would expect a replacement in 7 to 10 years from what I have seen.
