George Best
When the image is scanned with the auto scanner, the frames seen on the screen have a black line on the left, as if the film is being fed a little extra and the frame is not centered. Any one who can tell me where I can adjust this so the frames are scanned correctly

pepe21
This is a pretty easy fix, on the carrier itself where you insert the film you will see some 4 arrow buttons on the front part of the carrier, play with those until you centered the image, and once in the screen you will see them underneath the images which you can do the same. tell me if it help. That has to be done manually for each photo!! I want a permanent fix that doesn't need you to move each photo independently, but the scanner scans correctly As for spectrumcolors' reply, were in the service menu can it be adjusted
pepe21
Not really, it will do the 1st one only...and after if you need to do it on the other images you can do so....but by correcting the 1st image will automatically correct the rest. sisir
Some roller feed is damaged. you should replace that. I am familier with 350,370,355,550,570, but I never handled 340, so it is difficult for me to mention you which roller is to be replaced. If you have service manuals, I can mention you actual parts. I faced such problem several times with several machines and solved that also. Thank you, if possible send the photograph of film path section of your negative carrier, I can give idea about which roller to be changed. A tech came and fixed a similar problem on another machine, but he seemed to use a software repair method not replacing any of the rollers. I say this because, the feeding of the film is done a little extra, so the black line is on the left side of the frame
