facebook and kodak help

Hi!

When i like to print my photos from facebook account, kiosk pop up no photo are available from your account message. What does it mean? Do i need to change something in my facebook profile? Few days ago i print with no problem. When i try print from my kodak gallery account it was fine. So please help!

Test it to check if my guess is correct by trying to print from non timeline Facebook account and one with a NEW timeline look and then inform your Kodak distributor about this issue and ask for quck fix (it is never quick from Kodak  ;D), but you can try  ;)

If really the timeline look is the problem, there is no going back to the standard Facebook look, and you will have to wait that Kodak release a fix for that.

But again, that was just my guess, and nothing else ;)

Yes i try to print from Kodak gallery and works great! On Monday i was printing some from Facebook and on Wednesday start to pop up that message. I even try to print from my friends list who allows to print from their account and same message pop up.

It was Facebook update which broke this connection, I received today this mail from Kodak:

"At 20:45 April 3rd 2012, Facebook pushed out an software update that appears to have broken the system for getting Facebook images via the kiosk. The request is no longer returning the URLs to the images.

        Kiosk displays "No photos are available from your account." in "Make Prints from Facebook" application.

There is already a bug open in Facebook's tracking system as numerous applications other than Kodak are affected.

This is a WW issue.

Facebook is working hard to resolve the problem. "

And it was resolved on the end  8)

To those of you using the facebook module on your kodak kiosks (especially anyone on v5) I've run into an issue, and I'm not sure if it's just my machine.  When you log into a facebook account, and select a friends pictures to look at, if you hit "Previous" (to go back to the screen that lists your friends names) the machine starts all the way over from the main kiosk screen, rather than just backing up one screen.  Is anyone else having this issue?

sir try to recovery your kiosk this is the step:

note :used keyboard and mouse...

1,restart your computer/kiosk

2,hold press F11

3,click recovery and rescue

4,then hold press F11

5,choose the latest date on the local drive

6,click OK

7,wait for the recovery finish (note: don't interrupt the recovery..)
