lupinIII
I'm trying to install 605 printer from an older gs order station to a new kodak apex. Printer works fine, and apex reveal kodak 6800 series, this make me thinking that 6800 and 605 had same firmware installed on board. When send 4x6" form apex or from order station works fine. But my question is the follow, existing kit to convert 605 from 4x5" to print on 5x7" paper without buy new 7010/70XX series? thanks Bruno

Mark Amies
I think you are up against it, trying to convert printers to work with a set system like APEX could prove to be impossible, and Kodak do it for a good reason, they want you to buy the correct set up. Harry Crank
Kodak themselves offer an irreversible one-time-only conversion of their 605 printer to 5"x7" borderless printing. It's a standard option. If you talk to the right people they should know about it. However, this is usually relatively expensive, and disables 4"x6" and 6"x8" printing. Additionally, 5"x7" with borders is possible anyway, without conversion, on a 605, printing on 6"x8" media.
