iehitch
You would think that with all of the requests for a Kodak 6800 service manual from the members, someone out there would have one to share. I know a lot of members have hit on "Frenchman" for the manual and he had supplied them with a copy. It appears by his thread that he was frustrated by the lack of appreciation by those who had received a copy and stop sending them. I don't blame him and I wouldn't dream of asking him. I am asking those who did receive a copy if they could share the wealth by emailing a copy to me and those others out there that have units that are just sitting there. We are suppose to share our thoughts, ideas and anything we can to help others with their problems. If anyone has a manual and can email me a copy, I'd really appreciate it. I've got two units that are dead and Kodak has not been any help. THANKS. greg twogsplus4@verizon.net

iehitch
Hey Frenchman, I've checked but all I could find was the diagnostic download. So I know the problem and the potential cause, but I need more detail so I don't look in the wrong place or damage something in the process. I've got one printer with onlay 8000 prints on it. I don't want to end up using it as a parts machine. If a service manual is somewhere in one of the listings, could you give me a hint or email the information to me. I appreciate any assistance. Thanks. Greg twogsplus4@verizon.net
davidlam
iehitch, before asking for manual(s), simply tell yor problem in detail so this forum members can share their experience,,, telling which parts could be faulty..etc. .. will be time-saving that you don't need to read the heavy manual. By the way feedback is also important so members can learn from your feedback result posting.

MFOTO
I have some service manuals, but I don't know if they are that you're seeking for, the files that I have are: AR2842_1 Diagnostic printer 68XX error message 68XX there are some information but not a service manual as it. I need the "PHOTO PRINTER 6800 / 6850 COnfiguration Tool" to set the Serial Number of the board. There are not so much information about 6800/6850 Printers, and there are some density problems that I can't fix.
davidlam
AR means [ Adjustments and Replacements ], which is the said Service Manual. it tells how to remove parts, replace and adjusments (if any) after replacement.
