El Diablo
Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to connect a kodak 7000 printer to a G4 ? i am trying to replace my 6800 with a 7000 printer , for some reason it does not detect the printer and i am running 4.1.1 software. Chopper
Dont waste your time trying it will not work !! Kiosk use 6800, 6850 or 605 printers. 7000 is for Apex only !

Trevor brown
When you say APEx software are you meaning the Version 4.1 and does it allow you then to load the kiosk software and all fubction correctly. I asked the same question regarding the 7000 printer and a G4x kiosk of the Technical Guys at Kodak USA who informed me the 7000 would only work through a Kiosk if it was a satellite of the APEX. El Diablo
very true even when i had it configured as a satellite it did not work , why is that this printer only works on the apex ?
Trevor brown
The only dreivers currently available are embeded in the APEX software there are no current plans to change this. so to use a 7000 printer it has to be attached to the APEX. The kiosk is then purely a input device that when connected to the APEX will print to the 7000 printer.
