Roy
Hi, I have some Kodak SM chemistry packs ( P1/P2 & F1/F2) that show 2008 dates. Does anyone know how long this chemisty should last? Regards Roy

aussiecameras
I would have thought that the dev packs would have a shorter use by date than the fixer and bleach fix packs?
aussiecameras
Anybody used P1, P2, F1 or F2 when it has been two years old?
Teds
I have found that F1 only has a 18 month shelf life, the part a of the c41 dev goes black and no longer any use. Watch suppliers stock, I am still getting 09 stock from my supplier and have had oxidised stock arrive. Never had problem with F2
Big Dave
I second what Teds said about the F1 & F2. We had an issue once where the CD-C (F1-part1) the plastic nipple that attached to the bag wasn't properly sealed. We didn't notice any problem with it until we placed it into the V50 and closed the drawer.... What a mess ! It leaked everywhere. Our supplier wouldn't do anything about it because it was delivered over a month earlier, and we only have 3 days to call and complain if something is wrong. aussiecameras
Sounds like the F2 and P2 might be useable for quite a while and you could monitor F1 by looking at the colour of part A before using. Does the first part of P2 do the same ... turn black?
aussiecameras
Sorry, i meant to ask about the first part of P1, not P2. Does that turn black over time?
