cecilh
Does anyone know why we'd be getting a concertina effect on our 6850 printers? As per Darren at Tetenal then we upgraded to firmware 613 but it hasn't done the trick. We also thoroughly cleaned the rollers hoping that would fix things. I've tried a few times to get through to Tetenal technical dept again today but went to voicemail. Darren and Rob are very helpful but I think they could do with some more manpower as they're flat out it seems. Another printer is coming up with 'cooling' after a short number of prints. I presume it's overheating. Any suggestions on this? I suspect they'll all need replacing but any advice would be appreciated. Teds
The 6850 printers need good ventilation, if its in the yellow kiosk cabinet make sure the fan at the back of the cabinet is working.
marcus
how hot can it be in The Shetlands? i thought you had to go to Cpenhagen for global warming.....
Mark Amies
Might sound insulting this, but it may be worth saying- has the kiosk got enough air space aroung the outside - it isn't squished up against the wall? I would doubt you would get a heck of alot of help this close to Christmas.
cecilh
Thanks for the replies everyone. The new firmware did the trick for a short while but has reverted back to buckling prints unfortunately.
