frenchman
Hi Jvc1986, it's not possible ,for install a new minilab enablement software ,you need to reinstall in totality the kodak kiosk ,sorry regard frenchman
cobhamcameras
you can go into service area 789632, and there is an un-install enab section, in there is a check box, which is to remove enablers on re-install. Check this box, then go and re-install V1.x software, the minilab enabler will then be removed and you can select a new one. Remember to back up settings before doing this. This was done on my kiosks when i changed from Gretag to Noritsu enabler
pskaro
Another way is to restart kiosk and press F11, follow the instruction and restore the system to the V1.X which was installed last. Be careful and do not restore it to the recovery CD stage. This will take some time, but off course do the backup CD for the settings. Jvc1986
When I press F11 it starts a rescue and recovery program, I did not dear to continue in case it would wipe the entire system, but do I get choices of recovery when the rescue and recovery program is loaded? pskaro
Yes, there is a choice to recover to starting position with only windows and drivers, another option is to recover to position after the KPK application (last one) is installed. frenchman
in the restore utility area ,you have 3 possibility : 1) restore the operating system windows 2000 or Xp 2) restore the KPK 1.X or 2.X without enabler automatly making when the KPK software is instaled 3) if the field engenier has make a good job you can see the last backup with the enabler noritsu or gretag or dls loaded maybe it is not the good one for you!!! frenchman
Jvc1986
Thanks. Unfornuatly the only option was to restore it to the state which all enablers was installed. And the tech guy never answers my emails about sending me the USB installation stick
