Our PM has a Epson/Kodak Perfection 2400 scanner to make print from prints, but now we have got several scratches in the glass which appear in every scan.

Is it possbile to us another Epson scanner, or must it be the 2400, or espacially the Kodak/Epson 2400? Has Kodak made any firmware changes etc. to the scanner?

you don't need to use an kodak/epson scanner , if the G3 is running with a scanner ,the driver for the epson perfection series scanner are installed .if the G3 have not scanner instaled you need to use it the print scanner enablement software ( it's only for the epson perfection series).

What the the software instaled in your G3  KPM V X.X or KPK V X.X ?

Here we go again!

Today our Epson 2400 started to show only black scans, it seems alright when starting up, no errors etc. but when we scan something it just give us a black image..

But it do work sometimes, maybe 2-3 images and then black again.

Did try with a new Perfection V350, it was found during the startup check and it did start to flash green, but then it just said SCANNER                            ERROR                         EPSON PERFECTION V350 //usbscan0 (or something like that)

Any idea? Is this scanner to new or maybe there is something else that may help?

Nobody seem to have 2400 in stock anymore, strange that Kodak don't have made it possible to use another scanner..

HELP anyone:))
