Denis
I am having problems with my MFD, when I print printer tests for my papers, the denistometer returns a message that the 'blacks are not black enough'. My process control test are okay and in control (A little low on the contrast but not OOC). I have tried to increase the Dev temp and increase Dev rep rate , but it does'nt do anything. I have re-bleached the control test to confirm it is'nt the Bleach/Fix at fault. Hope someone can help. I am going to swap the desitometer tommorow (Sunday). Trevor brown
Denis have you firstly cleaned the densitometer (SSR) and the LampHouse. If so and the chemistry is ok then you could need to up the Base Pulse Width. Does this happen on both Gloss and Matt Paper. If problem persists give us a Bell. Denis
Thanks Trevor will call you tomorrow (Monday) I am able to read the daily printer test no problem. I have cleaned the SSR denistometer. With regard to the lamphouse, is it just the glass coloured filters and any mirrors to clean?
