mevimakit
We have one of these where I work, and before I call Kodak again tomorrow (we tried a couple things today)... The film-side bleach temp keeps fluctuating badly. It's gone up to 52 Celsius, when it's supposed to be around 38. Lowest it's gotten all day was 39, and only for a couple minutes, and the machine keeps saying it's trying to cool it, but often, the temp is actually going up! Anyone know what might be causing this, or at least have some short-term tips to keep it cool? Also, how high can it get before I should really stop processing films? ^^;;;
Peter Thornton
First thing: Is the temperatuire vfluctuating in the main body of the tank? If it's rising and falling quickly then this is unlikely. Don't know Gretags but on a Noritsu the temp probe is near the heater and any bproblems with circulation will lead to the INDICATED temp fluctuating. So, check circulation and check filters. mevimakit
Okay, I gave in and called the tech this morning, because it was coming up too LOW this time! He came in hours and hours later and found out it was a bad sensor... so all this time, I could have been processing film. >.< Oh well. At least it's fixed.
