worm
I have a problem with autofocus. Photos come out blurry. Can this be just a software error or is it a mechanical one? Thanks in advance.
Magenta
The zoom lens on a 22 is very good and I am assuming that it has been OK in the past and just started to give out of focus prints. The individual elements that make up the lens are controlled by a stepper motor and move up and down on a worm drive. These tend to get dirty and sticky over time, use output check to operate the lens up and down if it errors or does not move up and down cleanly, the lens can be stripped down and the worm drive cleaned and lubricated with something like silicon polish. I would not use anything thick like grease. Can be done but not officially.
