bshots1
morning all, i have a old but lovley 3001sm unit, and last week while i was cleaning the tanks i accidently made a boo boo "contamination" so i replace the Cd and bleach for the safe side, now my text strip is coming out red?? the top and bottom of the strip is white, so i know is not the chemical problem anymore. i have tried place the AOM unit, green first, same, than red ,and is the same, before i call GOD, i hope anyone here can lend a hand. when i calabrate it , it will say "set up error 6082-0213"
Magenta
Contamination of the Dev is no problem as long as you have not run daily setups on the contaminated chemical. (it normally goes cyan so your red result may be that you are trying to remove previous corrections) Obviously replacing the tank solution is the 1st good step. IF all was well with the machine, laser, AOMs before and everything was printing fine, I would load a back up from before you had the problem

Magenta
Try and open the Floppy on another PC, if you open it drop the contents onto another floppy that has been formatted on the QSS floppy drive. If the data is lost I think you will need to run initial setup in the service mode till good. Keep all floppy's well away from your monitor it will damage the floppy
