failure to clone HDD MP1600

Recommended Posts

thanks  Manager

I mean the disks containing the printer.

The first disc is a 40mb flash.

the second is a 20GB hard drive, this disc is that I made the copy.

flash disk containing the operating system (MS DOS).

the second disc contains the DLS software, the data uniformity, etc.

in order for the MP1600 computer to boot from a disk, you have to set parttion on that disk to active using a MSDOS utility (this is a general MSDOS answer) since the MP1600 run under a version of DOS (not windows)

If my memory serves me correctly, you need the FDISK untility to do this.  I cannot guarantee my answer is accurate though.
