Print Quality of Noritsu Models

The QSS32 and 33 use different laser types, so when you compare a machine side by side you will expect there to be some differences in the output. Depends on how well the previous operator(s) setup the machine(s). There's probably not a real issue here, accept you'll need to spend a little time in fine tuning the apllied corrections for your individual print channels. Just because the values keyed in are the same doesn't mean the prints should look the same, as there are other variable that impact on the results.

Check if there are any corrections against the paper magazines, if there are you might want to zero these out before you start to "match" the  settings. If you are using the same print channel structure for both machines then zero out all the corrections for your primary channels and start again.

MAKE BACK-UP DISKS FOR BOTH MACHINES BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANY CRITICAL SETTINGS, or loose track of the changes you've implemented.

Before doing any test prints for comparison, I'd probably commence with an Initial Setup on both machines to start with. This will at least ensure they're relatively  optimised.  A good test image is essential to use for evaluation. There is a selection here of free downloads.

The bottom print looks like the contrast and sharpness are set higher.

Is the auto correction box ticked on one machine and un-ticked on the other machine?

As already said the software and profile data versions between the two machines need to be of roughly the same generation for you to stand a chance of getting the machines close.
