Failed to set up correctly #511

Im trying to register a new paper, the Fujifilm DPll Pearl (metallic).

I have entered it in Paper Specification/Registration setup, but when it start printing tests and when the first test is out and read by colorimeter it says" Failed to set up correctly #511, try set up again".

Works fine on Supreme and DPll matte, but gives this error on metallic.

You must to execute the initial setup for this paper type.

I believe that is what I have done, and the error occures when the first test print is finished.

What I do to register this new paper:

Maintenance - Extension - Setup - Laser Setup - Paper Specification Setup.

Then I select paper nr 3 (out of 6) to be CA_D_Pearl and to use the 152(3) magazine to setup.

Enter to register

Then I press Paper Specification Registration Setup and select the new paper.

It then starts to print Paper Gamma Setup, the colorimeter reads it and the this error comes, "Failed to set up correctly #511, try set up again".

It does not even show me the values it read from the paper.

I did try to use another paper I already have setup (DPll matte) and just registered the magazine as that and did a emulsion number change and it did manage to read the paper, and correct it.  so no colorimeter reading error either, but that paper profile is not good for metallic paper.

If I try again, same error, tried now 5 times.

Please, specify name of your minilab.

Well, its a Fujifilm LP7100, but the paper registration is in Noritsu menu (really a noritsu lab with Fuji UI i guess)

We had a 2901 before this and the menu is all the same, with some new additions ofc (newer software).

It looks like the QSS3502 except we have 2 magazine, and separate film scanner and green doors and sorter.

I have been in contact with our Fuji tech, but they dont know what this can be, they are waiting for a response from Japan..

I think that it's problem of software. Try to use the profile for Kodak metallic.

I have tried using several different profiles incl Kodak metallic, no luck:(

Hope Japan has an answer:)
