Focus Adjustment Error

I'm getting several error codes when I try to do adjust the scanner focus on my 3011. The codes are 6321-1006, 6321-0368, 6321-1010, 6321-0352, 6321-0336. I have looked them up in the service manual but it doesn't help much, and there is absolutely no help with the suffixes.

Anyone have any information? Is it some kind of hardware issue or is it the way I'm trying to adjust the scanner.

I presume you are using the service tool focus jig. A very thin laser cut stainless steel patch that fits in the AFC before going onto focus mode.

If not you can not use the focus mode

Sorry just read again are you useing a Noritsu S2 S4 scanner or a Kodak one

If you have some problem with scanner focus please read the scanner initial data.

The 3011 uses the S-1200 scanner.

Check that the focus jig is not damaged as they are rather fragile.

It is damaged but how bad before it gives error codes? It has a very very tiny dent on the tip of one of the triangles. would this cause all the failures for focus adjustment even though I can get swing and tilt, and the light axis adjustments to "ok"

Just getting finger grease in the slots can stop them working, swing and tilt is more mechanical alignment, Focus is more about the graph shape, you need to  get a new patch
