Guest
Hi Experts, I just had a problem in QSS 32, That paper coming in a green color. even if I print a media or do paper setup. It is Laser type B1, I'd replaced a new Image Processing PCB, New Printer Control PCB, NEW AOMs, New Digital ICE Pcb. there is no error for laser and more over Laser look good in "Input " mode. The problem is that I dont have Intial Setup disks for this machine as it is rebuilt.
LASEREPAIR
Oops! I didn't understand you well, did you get green on unexposed area, or just your test pattern prints are greenish? If the second... you are thinking right about initial setup. To do this you have to go to service menu with a service diskette 3,5''. Send me e-mail with a detailed explanation of your problem, I'm able to help you at least with a service disk. And please send a scan to visualize the problem... laserepair@gmail.com

Magenta
What colour is the white on a control strip or a piece of unexposed paper loaded vis the control strip holder. No image is odd and not necessarily a laser problem

Dave S
Are there any error messages? Run the self diagnostic test it may give you some clues as to where the problem is. Service mode, extension, maintenance, self-diagnostic. It could be a bad LVDS cable from the CS to the LPP.
LASEREPAIR
spectrumcolors, If you have green on unexposed area, and you have already exchanged AOM drivers - more likely this is contamination of lasers problem. I've got before similar twice on 3301 machines, never on 3201 but the laser units only look different to fit different layout, the guns, polygon and other stuff are the same generation. It's look like Blue and Red laser guns both are not cut by acousto-optical modulation system and go out directly to the feeding paper. Just tell me, this came after reinstallation of laser unit, or you have find this after nobody touch machine, just next good pictures produced? Guest
well Friends, I'd found the problem it was Laser Synchronous. I'd fixed it and now it is is working fine. but you know the problem is now with the colorimeter. It printed 22 lines but it calculated 23 times. Can some one tell why it so? LASEREPAIR
Can you explain better, what was the problem? Just for my statistic of laser'n'surrounding problems... Thank you in advance.
Dave S
Yes do tell us in detail what you did to fix the “Laser Synchronous” problem. Carry out the colorimeter paper front end advance length and paper feed error corrections.
