Green test print 3300

Hello

We have Noritsu 3300 and last summer we had a red test print. After installing new AOM photos OK.

Now last week we had green test almost every time and every time we chance paper cassette.

Now we order new AOM and chanced green AOM OK short time but then red test print. Then we put

old green to red and some test and test OK. Today again this morning test print is green???

To I need to chance blua as wel or is this possible to be a AOM driver fault or????

Us printer is driven some 600 000 photos.

Any help what to do next.

Each AOM controls Red green or Blue When they go they flip Re/Cyan, Green/Magenta, or Blue/yellow.

If you suspect an AOM swap it over with another one Yo need to keep track of what one you suspect of been faulty. If work is going green swap the middle Magenta AOM with say the Yellow one. If the work still flips green its not the AOM if it starts to flip Yellow Blue it is the AOM that was faulty.

It could be the small laser driver PCB, you have 1 green and one blue on top of the laser. These PCB's are the same and can be changed as above. Take care.

It is not unusual when 1 AOM fails that another one follows it in a short period of time.

The most likely problem is one or more faulty AOM drivers.

Were the replaced AOM drivers new or second hand?

Second hand drivers can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they will work for many years other times only a few months.

What are the AOM driver types and manufacture for the AOM drivers fitted to your machine?

Type number will be something like EFLC200P24?

Manufacturers are normally Matsushita or Panasonic. The latest ones are made by Noritsu these have a stainless steel case rather than an aluminium case.

The Matsushita ones seem to be more reliable than the Panasonic ones.

I understand Noritsu returned a load of the Panasonic back to Panasonic for re-manufacture because of reliability problems. These re-manufactured ones can be identified by extra labels on the casing that say do not remove!

New AOM  in machine and after some test pictures are OK. But when we chance magazine so colors are magneta. Do I need to do somethin in basic settings or?

Please dont say LUT say what is mean ex. Laser unit.....

You can be sure, you laser unit is good. I promise you.

Check both AOM Drivers signal connectors (input & output).

Check cooling fan in AOM Drivers area.

If you are sure, both Red and Green AOM Drivers must be good, execute Initial Setup from Service menu.
