So your 1 and c prints are imaged wider once trimmed that B?

If so it sounds like the printer is shrinking to the width of the paper.  The printer has a bleed so it is actually is printing larger than the roll.  In my experience with our 20 and 30 printers, it it pretty darn difficult to get exactly the same size print when going full bleed across the width.

hi,Prodpi,thanks for ur reply,but the machine is a laser printer , like other QSS system.it exposure on KoDak paper directly.i don't think it's a mechanical problem.

I am aware of the printer, we actually looked at it closely and went with Dursts instead.  In any case what are you using to do the layout of your three 8x10's?

we bought the sofeware from kodak,it's not caused by the software.

I wouldn't think it would be software, I am thinking that by send three 8x10 images across the roll, the printer is enlarging the entire image to bleed.  This could be stretching the outer two images.  There is always roughly 1.5-3% bleed on these machines to avoid white slivers from exposure/transfer tolerances.

Hello.

There is a function (you need the service disk or go into service mode) to adjust the paper advance.  It takes two measurement values, one at midpoint and one near the end - and this will correct your problem.

I think I did not tell the problem clearly.It happens on 24inchs paper:

In the PC the image is 8inch*3 in width direction,but on the prints the image shrink in the center on the paper
