2711 - Dark lines (banding ?)

Hello there again ! New problem on my machine : on large prints (12", 18" length), some dark lines appear that are perpendicular to pape direction, at the front end of the print. See http://www.thorrfoto.ro/Noritsu.html .

As you can see in the circled area, the image seems to "break up". If anyone can comment on this or has seen this earlier, please let me know.

Oh dear. Not much help I'm afraid, seen very similar output from a cranky scanner.

To me it looks like banding. The paper does not run with the same speed past the laser. Have you got a white stripe at the end of the picture?

Yes, that's what it seems to me too, but I can't figure out what the cause is. No there is no white band at the end of the print, but that might be due to a slight zoom applied to the file.

We just had a noritsu tech look at our 3302 that was having the same problem.  It is either paper dust that has built up on the rollers that feed the paper past the laser or another part which i cannot remember at this time.

If the print had a white band at the end then the cover over the laser glass is not on properly.
