Videoteks Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I have the 3202PRO - Could a bad AOM Driver cause a Polygon Mirror Control Error. I have recently moved my lab. We seperated it and moved it across the building not far 10 - 12 feet. Before we moved it I suspected that an AOM Driver was on it's way out as we were getting magenta halos on images, and were constantly making minor adjustments to the laser. Now we have this POLYGON MIRROR CONTROL ERROR. If I can't resolve this I will need to call Noritsu out, who I know will want to replace the laser unit... please help.
ProC Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 NO. I've had lots of problems with AOMs and talked about this with Noritsu tech. So he told me, that you can actualy turn on the mashine even without AOMs at all. of course, you not gonna make any prints, but also will not break anything else.
