When you have unpacked the zip file you should have a folder 2611bas, inside this folder is disk 1 and disk 2 open the disk 1 folder and copy all of the folders to the floppy disk (PE00-PE51). Do the same for disk 2 (PE00-PE54).

The PE numbers are the paper specification numbers.

If you go to Menu, Extension, Maintenance, Machine Specification look at the Paper specification number, make sure the same number is on the floppy disk.

E.g. paper specification number 44 Edge 8= PE44 on disk 1.

To load the uniformity disk enter service mode, go to Menu, Extension, Maintenance, Various Adjustments, VFP Unit Adjustment, Shift yes select read uniformity correction.

Then go to VFP initial setup again when it asks for the basic data insert the disk as above, it should find the required files.

It is most important to check your chemistry is in control before attempting to set-up the VFP, as if it is not in control the VFP is unlikely to setup correctly.

Put the 102mm gloss paper into magazine unit A, remove any magazine that is in magazine B unit.

Load the service disk, go to Menu, Extension, Maintenance, Various Adjustments, VFP Unit Adjustment, Shift yes select write uniformity correction, insert a blank formatted disk into disk drive, press the yes key.

Now initialise the VFP data, go to Menu, Extension, setup, Data initialisation, select VFP. Now go to Menu, Extension, Maintenance, Various Adjustments, VFP Unit Adjustment, Shift yes select read uniformity correction insert the disk you made earlier. Go to Menu, Extension, setup, VFP setup, VFP initial setup, read the initial data disk,  select the paper width and surface you want to use for the VFP daily setup (usually 102mm gloss)  press yes, setup prints will now be printed, read in prints as shown on the screen.

It should do a VFP daily setup at the end, print should be grey.

Then follow the procedure to correct the uniformity if necessary.
