kioskguy
I don't know about everyone else but hasn't Christmas crept up quick this year. Nice to see some sales action this week. Wish it was more but we should be grateful for anything judging by what the newspapers are saying. How is everyone else going with sales? What's going well - and what's not moving? NeilT
Best day trading in the area was during the recent strikes, when most of those on strike went Christmas shopping!!! Public sector strikes are good for the public sector tills
kioskguy
Yes, we did well with the strikes too. Bring on another!! The Christmas push has started - although it does seem quieter than it was last year. Today has been busy. Good photo book orders and canvas plus lots of interest in photo gifts. Perhaps the real rush will begin Tuesday
aussiecameras
We are going flat chat. Cameras are slow but we will sell more print scanners than cameras. They are super hot! Frames, albums and all sort of printing going gangbusters. Door count is going through the roof. I think it will be a Christmas where people are not spending a heap of money but are still spending on stuff that we have. For us it will be a high margin traditional photoshop Xmas, not a camera store Xmas. .
snpysnps
We're busy too. Folk printing all the stuff they've meant to do all year. Some nice orders coming through the kiosks. Last poster couldn't be more right - everyone looking for something special without the price tag. Will only get busier from here onwards.
