Passport Photo Solutions

With the sad news that first Sony and then FujiFilm have stopped producing a specific passport photo solution, and the Polaroid solution long since gone, I wondered waht you guys thought about this?

If you wanted a specific medium to low cost solution for the job, what would you be getting?

I know alot of you wil say , 'bung the jobn through the lab' , but if you didn't want to tie the lab up on the job?

I use my Konica Minolta Dimage A200 bridge camera, take 3 shots, then print the best one through the passport print setting on the Kodak Kiosk.

Job done in under a minute  8)

Looks like this will end up being the way , using kiosks. Of course there is a hazard in that too, becuase it means the kiosk is held up while you do the job. It is where stand alone solutions were so much better.

I use a Mitsubishi CLICK with a 9550 Printer.

We use a canon A640 then a photoshop action to create the 8 on a 6x4 print, then print to a kodak 6800 just though windows xp

I use Canon 1000d with Multiblitz profilux 400 , pictures download  thru eye fi wifi card on pc and then just print on  selphy canon printer. Pictures are better quality then on kodak kiosk. All that is finish under 2 minute.
