minimonkey
I use Champion, very happy with the service and price. Not sure about reps in your area but we get ours direct from Champion Distribution Ltd
nash
i`ve just changed over to Champion, far cheaper than Fuji chemistry. i have e-mail address for their Technical sales manger if you want it : nigel@championdistribution.co.uk
Mark Amies
Just to say , we do have alot of very satisfied customers for the CPAC chemisty range. Mark - Photomart.
Nick
Happy with Fuji, been using it for years now. Don't use as much as we used to. We buy from Swains.
nash
the cartridge from Champion costs me £42.50 whereas Fuji cartridge from Swains cost over £65.
Magenta
Nigel from Champion must be one of the few technical guys who knows his job and his product. Most have gone by the way over the years as support is not the in word.
Big Dave
The CPAC CD is cheaper (price, image quality is still the same) but it smells more (a lot more) than the Fuji. If chemical smells don't matter to you then go with the cheaper option.
cecilh
Magenta - that is the very reason we have stuck with Tetenal for years. What their Peter Townsend dosent know about chemicals is not worth knowing. Over the past 30 years we have used most makes and have never had better than Tetenal (and no strong smell). AJLA
Tried them all over the years. Champion is our favourite by far the cleanest i've ever tried unlike some which some end up like pond water in a few months. My only issue is i buy from Swains and they are often out of stock. Will have to chase up direct now they are here in the UK again
Trevor brown
Tetenal without doubt the best arnd Peter Townsend has forgotten more than the others Know about Chemistry and they make there own. Great service and great prices.
Davidf
have tried them all and champion is by far the best and cleanest and best price. not sure who distributor is now was photologic but think champion are now doing it themselves, and Nigel and mark watson were the two technical reps
nash
Here`s Champion`s Tel: 01844 344 988 ask for Nigel Davies (Technical Sales Manager)
coloursphotographic
a big thanks to everyone who joined in on this, looks like ''champion'' have come out tops judging by the number of people that are using them.
Chopper
The choice is very simple call Tetenal on 0116 232 4910 and ask for Chris Castle, he is an expert and will point you in the right direction on all chemistry and equipment matters. Mark Amies
Chopper, do you work for Tetenal?
cecilh
I don't know who he works for but he is quite right and I don't work for them. I have been processing for 30 years and have tried every type on the market and Tetenal is by far the best I have tried.
Trevor brown
This is getting like the Buying a Refer Kiosk topic. retailers offering an opinion which a Supplier does not like.. Watch it Cecilh you will be on Tetenals payroll soon! Lol. And for what it is worth I have used Champion, Tetenal and currently Kodak but found Tetenal's to be the best.
