kioskguy
I just got the free samples offer in my email from Adventa. We have been doing well with it and considering getting into some of the new products too. Has anyone tried the jute bags? Also, what are others selling the different products for? We wondered whether it was better to include the print price or charge separately?
fujilab
I didn't see any email offering free samples. Is it through Swains?
kioskguy
I think it was a promotion direct from the manufacturer. Here is the link from their email http://tinyurl.com/25l4a3m
noritsuvet
Looks really good. I saw some bags like that at some of the design shops and wondered how long it would take before they came our way I can see these being popular this Christmas. snpysnps
We find a lot of customers buy them to take home and make, or as presents so price without the prints.
Mark Amies
Most decent suppliers and wholesalers should be selling these and similar items, and I can certainly say that we have alot of those Innova items at Photomart. It seems that photogifts are a big seller this year, especially in the lead up to Christmas.
snpysnps
I thought they were only available through Swains so that is good news the suppliers have them now. That's the Adventa range, right? Gifts have been going really well for us already this season. I'm hoping it will only get busier for them as we haven't even started to see a real 'Christmas rush' yet
fujilab
Our samples arrived in the mail today. Made a nice change from all the bills (and bad weather!!) The flexible fridge frames look great and I like the hard fridge magnets that convert into a mini frame with stand. Very good idea. I just wish some of the other suppliers would be so generous with freebies!
NeilT
Hey fujilab, let your supplier know about Mini Lab Help.com we are here to help and promote suppliers that deliver and help.
noritsuvet
Swains supply this range. It's a pity we don't see them supporting the forum more as it is a great resource for lab owners. maybe we all need to put some pressure on these suppliers

Mark Amies
I have noticed this generally with most discussion forums, a general lack of interest from suppliers and manufacturers, it's either igorance, laziness or complacency. Personally I take a great interest in forums - it's where your customers are, it's where they talk , it's where they are looking for info. To think that Swains are the only company to go for for photo gifts is a mistake, and for once I will make a direct mention of the photo gifts we have at Photomart- clocks, snow globes, frames, placemats, and much more. cecilh
We've just received the new Adventa jute fashion photo bags from Swains and they've exceeded my expectations. The quality of the product is much higher than I envisaged and initial reaction from customers has been great. Customers print off an instant £4.99 8x10" enlargement, insert into the bag and they're delighted. We also got the new Adventa instant calendars which are a great addition to our calendar product range. We also do 8x12 and 4x6 inch 12-monthly calendars on the wet-lab which are proving popular this year. Just wish this snow would go away to drive more footfall! noritsuvet
Ben, which colours did you go with on the bags. We couldn't decide whether to buy the whole range or just the black and pink ones?
cecilh
We took natural, pink and black on the 8x10 size as a trial. However, once we'd seen them we quickly placed an order for the 4x6 and 6x8 inch sizes in all three colours. We placed the products on our website too as, even if we're out of stock, Swains will send up stock quickly to us with their excellent delivery service.
